Counselling and mental health support is available via Telehealth. This means you can now have a secure and private conversation with Dorian via phone or video chat, and receive high-quality psychological support from anywhere within Australia where communications infrastructure allows.
As it is with face-to-face consultations, you don’t need to be referred by your GP to access Telehealth counselling. However if you choose to be referred by your GP with a Mental Health Care Plan, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for your sessions. Although all of Dorian’s clients have the option of Telehealth consultations, this service is of particular benefit to a range of clients and circumstances, including:
- Rural and remote area clients
- Natural Disaster affected and COVID-19 impacted clients
- Mobility-compromised and disability impacted clients
- Clients on personal, compassionate, or work-related travel
- Clients unable to come into the practice for any reason
